Leah Vukmir campaigns ahead of the primary in Chippewa Falls

Chippewa Falls (WQOW)-The primary election is now less than one week away, and U.S.Senate candidate Leah Vukmir made a stop in Chippewa Falls to get her message out.

Vukmir is going up against Kevin Nicholson in the Republican primary, and said she stands with President Trump.

In this last week, she’ll make more than 30 stops across the state as a final push before the primary.

She said with the support of groups like the state GOP and the NRA she can continue to stand with President Trump’s policies.

"I’ve been a part of this amazing economic miracle here in Wisconsin, and I want to take that to Washington to stand with the president and continue to make America great again," Vukmir said.

Vukmir will be in the area again before the primary. She will be at the GOP Field Office Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
