DNR wants your help tracking deer

(WQOW) – Between now and the end of September, the Wisconsin DNR is asking for your help tracking deer.

The DNR’s deer herd estimates can impact how many deer hunters can shoot this upcoming gun-deer season. That’s why they are asking people to record any deer they see, and register it with them online.

The DNR also uses the information to form a ratio of does to fawns, which helps it come up with reproduction trends.
