Menomonie (WQOW) – The 6th annual Menomonie Airfest and Autorama will be held Saturday at the Menomonie Municipal Airport.
The Airfest is a family friendly event that includes five local food vendors and 20 local craft vendors, along with more than 100 vehicles in the car show. Helicopter rides are also available, and covered by $5 adult admission fee. Plane rides are also available, but they do cost extra. Kids ages 12 and under will be able to attend the event for free.
President of the Menomonie Airfest Autorama, Bob Rosendahl, said the highlight of his job is seeing people just having fun.
"Its all about raising money for the community and bringing the community together for a fun family day," said Rosendahl.
The Menomonie Airfest and Autorama is a non-profit organization and expects to donate more than $3,000 back to the community. The money raised will be split between two aviation scholarships, plus $500 will be given to the Vets Fighting 4 Vets.
