Bon Iver endorses Kelda Roys in Wisconsin gubernatorial race

(WQOW) — A Grammy Award winning band from Eau Claire has endorsed a candidate for governor.

Bon Iver announced on Thursday that the band was lending its support to Kelda Roys. In a statement, the band called Roys ‘the progressive voice Wisconsin needs right now’.

Roys gained 3 percent of support in the latest Marquette Poll. She is one of eight Democrats vying to run against Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) in the November general election.
