Three hurt, two arrested in Eau Claire county crash Wednesday

Eau Claire County (WQOW) – Three people were hurt in a crash in the town of Brunswick Wednesday evening.

The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 3380 block of State Highway 37 just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Officials determined the man driving a Chevy Impala crossed the center line and hit a Ford Taurus, driven by an adult woman. Both drivers were hurt and taken to the hospital by ambulance. They’re expected to be okay.

Deputies arrested the driver of the Impala for OWI causing injury, operating with a revoked driving status, and operating left of center. His female passenger was arrested for a probation violation and also taken to the hospital.

The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office, Eau Claire Fire Department ambulances, Township and Rock Creek Fire Departments all helped on scene.
