Sheriff: Drugs and speed appear to cause Barron County rollover

Barron County (WQOW) – One person is injured after a rollover crash in Barron County Wednesday morning.

According to Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald, police responded to a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 63 just north of Turtle Lake shortly before 8 a.m.

A 57-year-old man was pulled from the vehicle and flown to North Memorial Hospital in Minnesota with serious injuries. 

His name is not being released.

Sheriff Fitzgerald said drugs and speed appear to be factors in the crash. 

Highway 63 was closed for about one hour.
