Rock Fest celebrates 25 years with unique activities

Cadott (WQOW) – It’s Rock Fest’s 25th year, and the music festival is celebrating its milestone with some fun and unique activities for attendees.

Along with the 65+ bands playing on the main stage, and four other stages on the fest grounds, there are many attractions for fest goers between acts.

One, new attraction is the ‘Zombie Crawl’, which will take place all over the fest grounds on Friday the 13th. Participants will have an opportunity to win meet and greets and pit passes during that.

Rock Fest staff is expecting a great turnout and excited to celebrate 25 years with the fans.

"We’re trying to bring that in, a tie it together, like how we got here as a festival, what 25 years is, what we’ve done throughout the years," said Abby Maliszewski, the PR and community events coordinator for Rock Fest. "We’re also doing things on the tribute stage too, where we’re throwing back to some of the earlier performances that we’ve had, and we’re doing a lot of things that make this an entire event for our fans."

Another popular, unique thing Rock Fest has offered for years, is a wedding chapel. Officials said they already have four weddings planned for the weekend. Maliszewski also said there will be a professional wrestling matches on Saturday.
