Dunn County man charged with sexually assaulting child

Charges of sexually assaulting a child were filed Friday in Polk County against a Dunn County man.

Gustavo Buenrrostro, 28, of Ridgeland, is accused of first-degree child sexual assault.   According to the criminal complaint:

A girl told investigators this week that Buenrrostro sexually assaulted her at a home in Osceola in 2014.  She was 12 at the time.  She said she woke up to find him on top of her.  She said he fondled her, then tried to have sex with her, but was unsuccessful.  The girl said she pushed him off and ran outside. She said she recently ran into Buenrrostro at a family gathering, and he touched her inappropriately.  Investigators say Buenrrostro was deported in 2010, but is now believed to be living in Ridgeland.
