Lightning to blame for garage fire

Chippewa Falls (WQOW) – Officials say a lightning strike may be to blame for a garage fire in Chippewa Falls. 

Around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday crews responded to a structure fire at 416 Herbert Street. Officials said access to the building was difficult and that there were multiple trees across the driveway due to the storm. There were no reported injuries. 

About $8,000 in damage was caused.
