Eau Claire police take woman into custody after alleged gun burglary

Eau Claire (WQOW) – An Eau Claire woman was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon in downtown Eau Claire.

Eau Claire police said she was wanted after guns were stolen last week.

Arlene Erickson, 38, was arrested at a home on Chippewa Street. The guns were not found. There were others taken into custody as well. 

Police said since handguns were stolen last week, they took extra precautions in getting Erickson in custody.

Eau Claire police said they will release more information on Thursday. We will update this story with those details.
