Rusk Co. man charged with sexual assault of a child

Chippewa Co. (WQOW) — A Rusk County man has been charged with a felony in Chippewa County, after sexually assaulting a young girl.

Alexander Kenealy, from Hawkins, was accused of inappropriately touching a girl in 2015. She would have been six or seven years old at the time. Kenealy would have been 15 or 16 years old.

Investigators say Kenealy admitted to toughing the girl.

He is charged with felony first degree child sexual assault. His initial court appearance will be in March.
