Eau Claire (WQOW) – An Eau Claire man is charged with seven felonies for allegedly having sex with his 16-year-old coworker.
Kevin Salter, 26, could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted on all the charges.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police she went to Salter’s apartment twice last year, which is where the sexual contact occurred.
The victim gave her phone to police, where they found numerous explicit text conversations, as well as nude pictures and videos — including one of Salter masturbating.
Salter is also charged with three misdemeanors, including intimidating the victim.
Text messages show he begged her to ask her parents not to turn him in once they found out about their relationship.
Salter is due back in court at the end of February for a hearing.
