B-95, Moose Country hosting St. Jude Radiothon for 18th year

Eau Claire (WQOW) – Less than a dollar a day can help save the life of a child. That is the memo on-air talent on B-95 and Moose Country 106.7 are hoping to get out during the next two days.

The two stations in Eau Claire are part of the Country Cares for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Radiothon for the 18th year. They have raised nearly $1.8 million in the previous 17 years.

By calling 1-800-795-1800 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday you can make a $20/month pledge and become a ‘Partner in Hope.’

By doing so, you can also be entered to win prizes – like tickets to see Garth Brooks and Country Fest tickets among other options.

Most importantly, you will be helping to save lives.

“St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital doesn’t charge a penny to families for treatment and they also freely share their research with doctors across the country and globe,” said Mike McKay from B-95.

If you do not want to call in, you can also make a donation here. To become a Partner in Hope, you must make a $20/month pledge, but any donation amount is certainly appreciated.
