It’s now day six since the disappearance of 13-year-old Jayme Closs and the murder of her parents, James and Denise Closs of Barron. Jayme is still nowhere to be found, but Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald updated the community on Saturday, and said the investigation is progressing.
Sterling Bank has four area locations, and all four are accepting the money. “The Closs Family Benefit Account” was started Friday morning.
Fitzgerald said hundreds of people have been interviewed and his department is following up on tips from the public.
